Wow...our Paige is already 3 weeks old! It is incredible how much she has changed over the last week or two. Paige smiled for the first time yesterday - a real smile, not a gas smile =) She is so alert and seems to be absorbing everything - such a little sponge! She is still a very happy baby and not at all demanding, all she asks from us is a clean diaper and a full tummy.
Mickey and I are doing well, although tired. Mickey is a diaper changing champion and I dare say I can sponge bath with the best of them! Did I mention we are tired? BUT I am trying to appreciate the quiet moments of the 1:00 am and 4:00 am feedings - it is nice, just the two of us ... this time won't last long before we know it, she'll be sleeping through the night! Right??? Of course it helps having Nannie here (my mum). I can nap during the day without worrying about Paige, our laundry is caught up and we are eating well. I never understood people who say, "I forgot to eat" ...now I get it. Caring for Paige is so time consuming - there are days where I would have forgotten to eat! So, in a nutshell, we are loving our new role as Mum and Dad- who knew such a tiny creature could change our lives so much!?

Hi Erin, Paige is so beautiful and I can tell God gave her a wonderful family. Give her a hug from me.
I am leaving for Moncton on Wednesday, was hoping to see your mum but am happy she is helping you and I know enjoying Paige. Sh will really miss her when she goes home.
